I primarily use India Ink in translucent washes on clayboard. It behaves very much like watercolor with the added benefit of not lifting up when you apply new colors overtop. I have also worked in blue ink from a Bic pen – a completely different look and I love them both. I spray each piece with a UV protectant to help protect against sun fading.
